the other day i saw a sign on the subway that said “apply now”. and for the life of me, i actually did not understand what it meant because i read it as “app-ly now”.
those “theres an app for that” ads are getting to me.

The other day, like a lot of people around the country, I made a donation to the American Red Cross for Haiti (thanks to some Tumblr nav help). After finding out about the whole texting in donations, I did that too. Today at Whole Foods at the checkout, the lady asked me if I could make another donation, and so I did.
For a split second, I actually thought - but I already made a donation. And...
